Eucalyptus steam printing on silk

I have recently been experimenting more with steam printing, so I wanted to try more with eucalyptus. On cellulose fibers, eucalyptus can be pretty shades of yellow and brown, but on silk and other protein fibers, some very pretty shades of orange can be achieved. I used Eucalyptus Cinerea (Silver Dollar) and a willow leafed one of unknown species, of which the silver dollar was reddish orange and the willow leafed one was green. 

First, I laid out the branches on my fabric, and tried to press the leaves as flat as possible. 
Then, I did a layer or parchment paper to prevent the dye from bleeding too much, and rolled it onto a bamboo stick. 

After it was rolled, I tied it with a piece of cotton string, and put it in the steamer for 4 hours. Unfortunately, the plate that holds it above the water fell through so some of the prints bled, but otherwise it worked fairly well.  

After the 4 hours were up, I untied it and shook out the eucalyptus leaves, and it had turned orange!
